Latest news about the sunken Chinese ship: nearly 400 dead

As was reported earlier, Chinese ship with 456 people on board sunk in the Yangtze river on Monday. When rescuers came at the disaster scene, they managed to save only 14 people, some of the swam to the coast by themselves.

As was reported earlier, Chinese ship with 456 people on board sunk in the Yangtze river on Monday. When rescuers came at the disaster scene, they managed to save only 14 people, some of the swam to the coast by themselves. Chinese authorities reported about 331 dead people in the early morning this Saturday and now the number of dead jumped to 396. A day earlier, in Friday, authorities reported the absence of any signs of life on the ship after it has been lifted from the river. The ship’s captain and one of the engineers of the ship were deterred for further investigation of the tragedy.

This disaster has already been called as the biggest in the last decades. The situation becomes more complicated due to the fact that the ship didn’t send any SOS signals at all. Moreover, friends and relatives of those on board who came to the disaster place were stunned and their worrying increased even more as officials weren’t hurrying to explain something.

We have no information. We’re just wasting time and we are’nt receiving any clear answers neither can we track the progress of the rescue mission
