The whole incident happened momentarily as the boy just stumbled right in front of the painting and then ‘Bboom!’ and a huge hole appeared into $1.5 million piece of art.

The teen was just a visitor of a  Leonardo da Vinci show at Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei on Sunday, who became an internet sensation after the footage of the accident had been shared via social media.

The 12-year-old boy left a huge hole in 17th century Paolo Porpora artwork.

When the kid lost balance he still have been trying to get back into shape, but to the greatest regret he couldn’t. Video shows him tripping over the safety rope right in front of 17th Paolo Porpora artwork called Flowers, then he tries to steady himself but makes things only worse, pressing a can of soda straight into the picture and then his arm punches the hole…

The teen was really scared about the consequences, but the exhibition curator stated that the family wouldn’t have to pay the damages.

The  $1.5m piece of art is the ownership of private collector, who will return the picture to Italy for restorations as soon as possible.
