Hyon Yong Chol

The executed man, 66-year-old Hyon Yong Chol was сharged for treason and placed in front of the anti-aircraft gun that was fired soon afterwards. Hyon was dismissed from the post of the head of the country’s military for not paying respect to the prime leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un. Seoul’s officials said that Hyon disobeyed Kim and fell asleep at the meeting on which the prime leader was present. Hyon’s execution is the latest in the series of horrible executions that were held in North Korea. Thousand’s of people were present at the execution of North Korean military chief.

But this might not be the only reason, why Hyon was executed. Chol was believed to be speaking against Kim a couple of times and he also didn’t carry out a few of Kim’s orders. He was imprisoned last month and executed soon afterwards.
