Australia called its ambassador for a meeting after two Australians were killed today in Indonesia.

Two Australians together with six other people, accused in drug smuggling were executed today morning by the execution squad in Indonesia. Tony Abbott, the Prime Minister of Australia, condemned the actions of Indonesia’s authorities because both victims were fully justified during almost ten years, spent in prison.

This is a black moment in relations between Indonesia and Australia, but I’m positive about restoring our relationships

– said Abbott.

Yet, Abbott didn’t mention, how will Australia react on this event, if it’s going to.

Meanwhile, lawyer of one of the executed men brought his apologies in Twitter. “I’m sorry, I’m lost” – tweeted the attorney.

Indonesian authorities said that his country didn’t have any plans for recalling their ambassador from Australia. He also added that this is the legal case, not political one, so there’s no reason to take any actions against Australia.

Also four Nigerians, one Indonesian and a Brazilian were executed that day. Earlier this year, a Brazilian was also executed in Indonesia, that provoked Brazilia to recall its ambassador for consultations.

At first it was said that nine people will be executed, but the lucky 9th prisoner Mary Veloso was granted life.
