A Silicon Valley-based recycling company wants to find the woman. They are looking for her to give $100,000.

The woman was approximately 60-70 years old. She came to to CleanBayArea’s recycling center in Milpitas, CA, where she dismissed of several boxes with vintage Apple computers inside. Maybe, she though that they were just electronic junk. But obviously, she was mistaken.

As NBC news reported, boxes contained about 200 Apple-1 computers, which were originally built by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ron Wayne.

CleanBayArea sold computers for $200,000 in private auction. Now the company is looking for the woman who left the computers there to give her 50% of their income. So, if they find her, she will get $100,000.

The Apple-1 computer was produced in 1976. At that time, its price was  $666.66.

The computers were found when a CleanBayArea recycling manager was sorting the boxes. According to him, the woman decided to get rid of them because her husband had passed away and she needed to clean her garage.

Vice president of CleanBayArea, Victor Gichun, was shocked to see original Apple- 1 computers in waste.

We couldn’t believe our eyes, we thought it was fake. It was real

At last year’s auction at Bonhams in New York, an Apple-1 computer was sold for $905,000. That was the highest price for the device during its history.

So if you happen to be that anonymous woman, you must be very lucky.
