Uber says ‘NO’ to guns in it’s vehicles

Due to the announcement that the company made on Friday, all drivers and users of Uber are not allowed to carry guns while using the service. The representative of the company said that the rules have been changed since the 10th of June, a whole week before the fatal shooting in the church in South Carolina took place and took lives of 9 people.

The popular car sharing company recently prohibited guns in its cars.

Uber, the popular transportation company, is considered to be one of the tech leaders of modern time with the annual revenue of several billions of dollars. The company recently has sent a strict message to the government, saying that if the government doesn’t limit the usage of guns, private companies will do it by themselves. And one can understand the company as nowadays it is launching its service in South Carolina, where the law attitude to the guns is very tolerant.

Also, a few other companies like Chili’s, Panera, and Target supported Uber and prohibited guns in their vehicles as well.

A recent research showed that the majority of Americans are following the thought to disallow people with guns to enter public institutions like restaurants or shops.
