Google’s automatic car got into an accident, several men got hurt

The computerized Lexus SUV, full of different sensors crashed with other vehicles in the Mountain View city. Among this car, 20 more self-driving vehicles were riding in the city.

The tech giant made a report this Tuesday about the crash of one of its automatic cars.

3 passengers of Lexus complained about the light injuries and already went out of the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle also reported minor injuries of his back and neck.

The rules in California state that the self-controlled cars can’t be driven without the driver, that is to take control of the vehicle in case something goes wrong. Usually, Google sends another passenger to record all the events in and out of the car. But in this case, a third passenger was present on the back seat.

Though Google made a giant progress in self-driving cars, there’s still much to do as this occurrence is one of the 14 that took place during the last 6 years. And in 11 of the 14 occurrences, Google denies the fault of its car, saying the other vehicle was the cause of the accident.

Google representative reported that Google’s car was rear-ended by another car. Luckily no one got serious injuries in the accident and Google’s vehicle received minor damage of the rear bumper, while the car that crashed into the Google’s one got serious damage to its front bumper.
