The recently gained popularity problem is the annoying popup window that appears on Apple devices. The message says that your iOS has crashed due to the some third-party app. And the message provides both the site and the number which you should call immediately to solve the problem.

If you haven’t seen such a message earlier, it doesn’t mean that you’re protected from such a problem.

Another annoying feature of these popups is the impossibility to close them or even put them in the background. The issue seems to have been attacking only the users of the Safari browsers since last fall. And if someone dares to call the number, the voice on the other side of the line will tell the user to pay some money for solving the problem. And in the end, the problem won’t be solved and the villain will have the money.

Luckily, an easy fix is available that will help you remove this message fo your device.

1. Put your device into the Offline (Airplane) mode through your settings menu.
2. Go to your Safari Settings menu and clear all the history and the web site data by selecting the proper choice in the menu.
3. Close Safari by double pressing the Home button and swiping the Safari up.
4. Make your phone Online again.
5. Start Safari and use it as usually.

In order to protect yourself from such or similar problems in the future, you can go to the Safari settings menu and turn on the Block Pop-ups feature.
