The commission voted 3:2 on Thursday for new rules that closed the ‘holes’, telemarketers used earlier to annoy the citizens. To stop the unwanted calls, now it is enough only to say that you don’t want to receive calls from this company again rather than filling a form like it was earlier. The new rules also made the companies offer the consumer the service that will allow them to block automatic calls. Other rules provide clear and strict definitions of auto dialing so that companies won’t pass this rule in any way.

The law that was supposed to protect Americans from unwanted calls was passed almost 25 years ago and many users complained about unwanted calls since then. But now the problem should be solved.
