Popular adult dating resource Adult FriendFinder has been hacked recently. The resource currently counts up nearly 63 million users worldwide and ranks among one of the most popular dating sites on the internet, being ahead of the Tinder service.

Officials reported that private data of 3.9 million people were stolen, including as the private one like e-mail, address, date of birth as the very intimate one, like sexual advantages, sexual orientation or even the information about a particular user seeking spurious connections.

Needless to say that altogether this information is more than enough to picture the life of Friend Finder users or even blackmail them. Though, it’s not clear yet, how the system was hacked.

The statistics at the site says that men are the most frequent users of the resource as most women don’t use the website very often. The site representative said that the ratio of women to men is 1 to 16, and the overall theme of the site describes the resource as the place, where one can satisfy its need for sexual experience.

Meanwhile, the site representatives brought their apologies to the users and promised to investigate this incident with the help of third-party experts.
