The cyclist from team Astana was kicked out of the Tour of Spain (La Vuelta a Espana) for using the car to get the advantage on the race. Vincenzo was videoed riding and holding the car of the Astana Pro Team for 200 meters on the second stage. To be fair, it should be noted that the accident took place after the crash in which Vincenzo was involved as well.
The decision had been made up when the commissioners saw the video of Vincenzo Nibali hanging to the car of his team

Besides the Nibali disqualification, the director of the Astana Pro Team was also disqualified as he was driving the car.
Later, Nibali posted an apology message on his Facebook profile to all of the people that are ashamed of him.

Nibali is known as one of six men who won the three main tours, Tour of Spain, Tour de France, and Giro d’Italia.
