The court hearing on the Tom Brady case lasted nearly 10 hours and finally came to an end on Tuesday.
The high NFL official, Roger Goodell, was the head of the hearing in spite of the talks in the association of the NFL players that Goodell rescue himself.
Brady’s attorney said that the player’s team created a ‘compelling case’ and Tom was in the room till the very end.
Brady won the Super Bowl award four times and the court made a decision to suspend the player from 4 games. And in the report that was prepared for the NFL, the New York advocate, Ted Wells, said that it was more likely than not that the popular football player had been taking part in a scheme that aimed at deflating the footballs beneath the standards of the league. These footballs were later used in the game with Indianapolis Colts that took place on the 18th of January.
The NFL players association doubted the plausibility of the report and Brady’s representative also expressed doubts on the report.
If the report appears to be true, Brady will miss the first four games of the 2015 season, without pay. Also, the New England Patriots team will have to pay the $1 million fine and will lose the first and the fourth draft picks in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
