Riders after the crash

The leader jersey of the yellow color was awarded to Chris Froome after he rushed through the finish line second after the Spanish rider, Joacquim Rodriguez. He took the jersey from the popular Swiss rider, Fabian Cancellara that was made to leave the race because of the problems with his knee after the accident.

I say a big ‘Thank You’ to my crew that helped me get to the finish

– said Froome happily.

But the good news for Froome is that his main rivals are now behind in the overall table. And the Froome himself was lucky to have stayed from the accident in the front of the peloton.
