The 33-year-old Liryca Neville Branch, the daughter of one of the Neville Brothers, the popular music family in the city, saw the N-word among her orders in the receipt that was like a thunder on the clear day.

I couldn’t sleep because of this incident. It’s inhospitable

– said Branch.

She also added than she didn’t expect it in 2015, but after the incident, she was ensured that racism is still alive in the USA.

When Branch saw the text on the receipt, she immediately called the manager of the institution. When he came, he explained that the word in the check was only part of the joke, that black skinned restaurant workers play on each others.

Branch’s mother, Gaynielle agreed with her daughter that such behavior is unacceptable.

Restaurant employees should behave themselves properly and treat people with respect

– said Gaynielle.

In the meantime, cafe’s representatives apologized for the incident and said that they fired a worker, who did such a nasty thing.
