Police officials ask for public to help them catch the criminal as they are sure the essential element in cracking such types of cases is public.
There are a lot of examples when severe criminals had been caught with public’s help. Last year Kansas woman informed police that she had been followed by a driver and then told his license plate. That driver later appeared to be the alleged suspect in more than 12 shootings, who had terrorized three Kansas City-area highways.
However, this Wednesday a 65-year-old William Connole was found fatally shot on a sidewalk near his home in Loveland that situated in a rural area north of Denver. Police is currently hunting for the shooter or shooters, who are responsible for those three known attack in the area two of which ended up with deaths.
Help us look, keep your eyes open, pay attention and look for things in your neighborhoods that may be out of place.
– said to the local residents in a statement Loveland Police Chief Luke Hecker.
On April 22 occurred the first known shooting, when a 20-year-old victim Cori Romero was shot in the neck while driving through a town near Windsor. He survived. Besides other shootings were reported, but they ended up without injuries because of closed car-windows.
On May 29, also near Windsor, John Jacoby, 48, was shot dead while riding on his bike. There was no connection between those two murders as well as with the last one on Wednesday, according to police. They added that despite obvious absence of possible links, they are keeping on looking for some.
The last victim appeared to be the grandfather of 5, who usually had been taking night walks in order to sleep better. He was shot in one of such walks before 11 p.m. local time.
The possibility that all those killings was the work of serial shooter is very high, according to officials. The victims could be random chosen, so there would be no connection between them or other possible further targets.
Colorado citizens should remain alerted and also sure that those, who guilty, will be caught as they always make mistakes.
