All of them were thinking it’s just a simple depression or fatigue syndrome, and it all was like a kidding for me

– Avril said.

Lavigne has been decumbitured from last October as she could barely breathe and move. “There were periods when I wasn’t able to even take a shower because of the powerful sickness”.

Now Avril is almost cured, having passed the halfway of her treatment, and she wants to tell the world about Lyme disease, which, as she said “Is hidden by all the doctors, who says you are just crazy or tired a lot“.

She is also incredibly happy to have a second chance to live:

The fans have already expressed their compassion and told, they are very grateful about Avril using her powerful voice to spread awareness about Lyme Disease. Nevertheless, there occurred some critics who think it all was just a PR campaign to spread the information about the awful illness, supposing, that Avril wasn’t suffering at all, instead just playing a role in a social campaign. However, they support famous singer even if it was that way.
