The exam in the Maryland University was as usual except the last question that asked the student that was taking the exam, whether he wants 2 or 6 additional points for the exam. But the trick was that if more than 10% of the class select ‘6 points’ then no one will get any extra points and by selecting the other variant, a student gets less, but there is higher chance that everybody will get the extra points.
