Paul Mason, who once was called the world’s fattest man, said that now for his fiancée he will take a new responsibility and fear for a weight loss surgery that can totally change his life.

This 54-year-old man from Ipswich used to weigh 440 kg. He has already lost approximately about 285 kg and now hopes that surgery will help him to get rid of the excess skin for being the normal part of society.

He said that he is a little bit afraid, but he just can’t wait getting over the recovery period. Mason claimed that he wants to live a usual life, for example to walk with his dog along the road and to find a job as well, just to get on with life.

Due to the Dr Jennifer Capla’s donation, Mr. Mason will have the first operation in New York later. Mason said that the main lamp on his right leg, which had been inflected since December, is to be removed by the surgeon. Besides, previously he withstood to the serious gastric bypass surgery.

Mason narrated that “the apron”, an area around his waist, is to be removed and later operations will make him free of the baggy arms. Most of all, he wishes his body was able to stand all that and later he, in his turn, was able to make the woman beside him the happiest person in the world.

Paul has been living in US with Miss Mountain, who proposed to him during filming for TV-show ‘The View’ since last year. Now he hopes to stay in US and to start a new life with Miss Mountain after the eight hour surgery.
