Ibrahim Ahmad fastened himself with a fake explosives to attract the attention of a girl.

The curiosity took place in Washington, where the 18-year-old senior was trying in such a way to ask a date to prom and as a consequence was suspended from school.

That’s a pity, because, due to the five-day suspension, a young romantic fellow won’t be able to attend La Center High’s dance on Saturday.

The whole theatrical performance occurred on the cafeteria stage at lunchtime. Ahmad connected a paintball clothes to his waist and filled the open pockets with red paper tubes attached to the same color wires, a support made to look like explosives. Then the boy had shouted “THE BOMB” and afterwards invited his would-be date to prom. During the ingenious Ibrahim’s attempts, the high school’s administration was frightened of a terroristic act as long as they thought that the weapon was real.

The supervisor Mark Mansell claimed that Ahmad will be strictly punished for his thoughtless and inexcusable actions and for disordering an educational environment.

Ahmad is offended with the severe consequences of his actions. He thinks that it is unfair and the administration overreacted because of his roots. The boy felt himself a racist and claimed that if anyone else had done it, nobody would have had reacted in such a serious way.

But, despite all the problems, Ahmad is amazed by the lucky chance to go with that girl to dinner on prom night, since she said “YES”.
