A 34-year-old suspect worked as a welder for American Iron Works, the company which was owned by a murdered head of a Savopoulos’ family. He was taken into custody late Thursday in Washington DC.

Previously police reported that Mr Wint’s identification came to the surface thank to DNA that had been discovered on a slice of pizza at the mansion. But currently they refuse to confirm the fact of identification through the pizza.

About a week ago a 46-year-old Savvas Savopoulos, who had been the chairman of American Iron Works, was found murdered in the $4.5 M family’s mansion that was set on fire afterwards. His body was discovered next to his 47-year-old wife Amy, 10-year-old son Philip and a family housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa. A dreadful incident happened just a few blocks away from the Vice-President Joe Biden’s house in Woodley Park, northwest Washington.

However, the city and its well-off citizens were shocked even more when police had provided a few more details a week after horrible discovery.

A $40,000 had been dropped to the house hours before the incident, according to media reports. Besides, the staff members were told not to come to work that grievous day by a text message from Mrs Savopoulos.
