An American delivery driver was stabbed in his back, but still able to deliver his takeaway order. The assault happened at 2:30 pm on Monday in Louisville, Kentucky.

The colleagues of 25-year-old Josh Lewis narrated that a car was following him and then, just in a moment, someone jumped out of it, stabbed Josh with a knife and stole his vehicle afterwards. There is an information from the friend of injured deliverer that he was out of a surgery and now is doing better.

Spencer Grizz, who works as a shift manager at the delivery driver’s shop said that Josh surely will be fine because he is a sturdy boy and very lucky as well, since his order had to be delivered to someone at the hospital.

So, stabbed Lewis walked into the hospital building and firstly asked to find a person, who had ordered pizza and give it to him, only after he was taken to emergency unit. As a consequence of attack, the blade stuck in Josh’s chest cavity and he got his lung collapsed.

Grizz, who has been chatting with Lewis and recently organised a pizza to be delivered to him in hospital, said that in spite of severe wounding, he is making a good recovery.

Josh’s family are being on the halfway from Detroit to support him and just to be beside.

Spinellis Downtown, the workplace of injured, claimed that they will do all they can to help Josh and even are already having a special fundraiser to be able to give him financial support.
