The special secret service employees received a message from witnesses that a man is trying to pilot a device that looked like a remote-controlled flying drone on the territory of the White House. The park to the North of the White House was locked till the investigation process was carried out. But soon, the territory was opened up for visitors again.

Barack Obama, the President of the US, wasn’t at the White House at that time as he was at Camp David. Officials didn’t reveal the details of the incident at once.

That same drone

That same drone

This is not the first drone-related incident this year as earlier, in January one more man piloted his drone onto the White House sward by mistake. Authorities reported that the man, an employee of the US Intelligence Service, was consuming alcohol earlier that day and later lost control of the drone that he borrowed. The drone landed on the sward of the White House after the man sent it out of the window of his apartment with an intention to get the drone back inside, the way it came out. No charges were dropped against the man.
