On Monday Joyce Mitchell arrived in court handcuffed. She was charged with helping two prisoners escape of one of the most security prisons in upstate New York.

She was accused of a felony count of promoting contraband and a misdemeanor count of criminal facilitation. However, the woman didn’t enter a plea to those charges. She also rejected to appear at a preliminary hearing.

A 51-year-old woman was said to provide escaped prisoners with all they needed to break out, including blades, drill bits and other tools. Mitchell worked at Clinton Correctional Facility as a tailor shop instructor.

Talking about intimates, the hunt for the intimates entered its 10th day at the moment when the woman appeared in court.

Besides, Joyce Mitchell was detected to have a prior sexual incident with David Sweat, one of the intimates, whom she helped to escape. But later that information appeared to be faulty and was spread just to remove the woman from the prison or charge her. Moreover, according to NBC reports, Mitchell was also charmed by another intimate, Richard Matt. She even stated that she was in love with Matt.

Her agreement to be the getaway driver Mitchell explained as the affection of those feelings to the intimates. However, she refuses to commit that action because of her love to the husband, according to her words.
