Could you think that once it may be enough simply to change the glass to calm down a rampant man?

Scientists discovered that people drink slower from the straight-sided glasses rather than from the curved-sized. The research also sought answers to the question of affection of the volume marks on the glasses on drinking capabilities of a man. The representative of the research team said that the information like the shape of the glass or the volume of the glass will help them to be more accurate in the amount of alcohol they will consume.

When the experiment was carried out in the real life, scientists stated that the pubs with the straight glasses were having smaller profit than those with the curved glasses. This fact indicates on lower alcohol consumption in the first case.

Also, another experiment was carried out in the laboratory. 80 people without alcohol problem history were divided into two groups. The first group was given alcohol in a glass with 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 marks and the other group was given alcohol in glasses without any markings. The results were unexpected as the members of the first group fully drank their beer in 10,3 m, whereas the average of the second group was 9,1 m.

The results of the research may seem to be worth of taking a look at, but skeptics don’t pay enough attention to the results, as they simply don’t believe that the difference of 1.2 m between two groups of people ‘can hardly make any difference in the global scale’.
