Official structures don’t track their killings, but official media got this question on the surface as news sites were filled with information about deaths of citizens from the hands of justice.

Due to the latest research, almost 400 Americans were killed by the police from January to May this year. The information for the investigation was taken from the police reports, local news and interviews, considering each accident. The results are scary, it turns out, that in average more than two people were killed by the police each day.

Further analysis showed that half of the dead were white-skinned people and the absolute majority of them were men. Though, on the other hand, most of them, 80% were armed with potentially harmful weapons like guns or knives.

Deeper analysis of the deadly cases showed that most victims were either the members of the minorities or had mental diseases. And on the unarmed part of the victims, 2/3 were black-skinned men or Latin. The stats showed that black-skinned men were killed three times more frequently than people from the other groups.

Experts approve such investigations as they consider them to be a vital step towards reducing deadly cases with the participation of the police.
