Swiss gunman shoot dead three relatives and a male neighbor, after what turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. The whole incident took place in Wuerenlingen, the Swiss town near Zurich.
The police reported that the culprit was separated from his family, wife and three children. On Saturday night he came to the house of his parents-in-law, where he was probably looking for the members of his own family, and shot them both together with their son, his brother-in-law.
Afterwards the 36-year-old attacker went into a hose next door and killed a male neighbor.
The bodies were found lying inside and outside a residential building for the duration of a night, the police stated.
It was clear that there were no links on terrorism indeed, so the crime was labelled as a ‘tragic relational drama’.
The gunman, who hasn’t been yet identified, and all of the victims were Swiss nationals. Besides, the abuser had already been accused of violent behavior, lived apart from his family and didn’t have a gun license, confirmed police spokesman Michael Leutpold at a news conference on Sunday.
Just on the eve of attack, gunman’s wife took the children and left the family home to be housed in a shelter. Police official, Marcus Gisin, said that the survived part of the family, mother and her children, are safe for now.
Also police reported that because of multiple crime the investigation into the shooting may be difficult.
