Domino’s made public their plan to launch a new service that will allow their customers in the United States to order pizza online by using twitter. The company’s representative said that they are doing their best to make the process of ordering pizza even more convenient than ordinary phone call or a text message.

We’ve cut this procedure to 5 seconds

– said Patrick Doyle, the CEO at Domino’s pizza.

The system will work as follows: first a customer should register their Twitter page at the Domino’s Pizza Profile web page and fill the Easy Order section on the page. Once this is done, customers can simply tweet #EasyOrder or a small pizza icon to Domino’s Twitter. The company will send a message to the customer with the request to confirm the order and the order, saved in the Easy Order section will be automatically sent to the customer’s home.

Other food companies have experimented with the tweet-to-order service earlier, but unlike them, Domino’s is the first big company on the food market to use Twitter in the ordering process.
