A 27-year-old California girl, Alix Tichelman, was accused of murdering a Google executive with a lethal dose of heroin on his yacht. On Tuesday she was sentenced to six years of imprisonment for his death.
A wealthy Google executive Timothy Hayes, who was the father of five, had been found dead on his yacht two years ago. Police stated that surveillance video from the boat showed how the 53-year-old Hayes had been kissing “Call Girl Killer”, who later caused his death by injecting a critical heroine doze.
After Mr Hayes had overdosed from the drug, Tichelman stepped over that dying human being for a few times and decided to finish a bottle of wine, while gathering her belonging, instead of calling 911 for help. Then she left the yacht, where Timothy’s body was detected on the following day.
Eight months later after an investigation Tichelman was arrested on July 4. Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark said about her that she was very callous.
Police stated that Tichelman, a top-dollar escort who also worked as a fetish model, first met Hayes on some suspicious website and since then they had a continuing sexual relationship that included mutual drug use.
Larry Biggam, Tichelman’s lawyer said that he expects his client to stay in prison only for 3 years, because of credit for the time she has already served – nearly a year.
