A man was imprisoned and accused of killing a college student in Illinois.
As the authorities informed, the family members of the 19-year-old Taylor Clark reported him missing on Monday. They also said that his girlfriend was the one that saw him for the last time. As the Police started investigating this case, they came out on the 24-year-old Michael Gordon whose name was found in the emails that made clear that Clark was trying to sell his car to Michael via Craigslist. Gordon was immediately arrested and is now being held in the county jail with the $1 million bail. Gordon was accused of the first-degree killing of Taylor Clark whose body was found in his Nissan 350ZX not far from Gordon’s place of work, the truck driving center in Hazelwood, Missouri.
Meanwhile family members and friends of Taylor Clark are stricken with grief. Clark used to work at a convenience store in Troy and the candle ceremony was scheduled to be held there to honor the memory of Taylor. A similar candle ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Edwardswille University campus.
Unfortunately, Clark’s death wasn’t the only one that occurred in Illinois recently. A 23-year-old man was sentenced to life for killing a 45-year-old man in the 2012 planned robbery, on Monday in the St. Charles County. On the day of hearing, Illinois police made public the existence of the so-called “safe-zone” that is a place, surrounded by cameras that should help citizens stay safe when making online deals with strangers.
