The deadly accident took place in Claremore that a firefighter, whose name hasn’t been revealed yet, was trying to save his colleague, who fell into the underwater drain. Unfortunately, he didn’t succeed and lost his life, while the other firefighter made it out of the drain.

Officials stated that this isn’t the first rescue operation in Texas because of the disaster, as they sent rescue teams to all areas that were affected by the severe weather conditions. They also reported that a minimum of 15 highways in the state were closed because of flooding.

Meanwhile, the organizers of the popular Rocklahome festival that is being held 50 miles from Tulsa send the visitors of the festival to the nearest camping place to wait till the water level will decrease. They also said that the camps won’t be evacuated, so it is safe to stay there till the end of the catastrophe.

The American Red Cross organization equipped special places for those, affected by the disaster, where they can get the roof, hot food and medical treatment, if needed.
