The funniest incident took place in Sarasota, Florida on Saturday. Local police forces seized the man that got into the house of one of Sarasota’s inhabitants and fell asleep on the couch. Police representative said that the owner of the house woke up at 7 am in the morning and saw the 29-year-old Timothy Bontrager peacefully sleeping on the couch in the living room. The amazed resident asked Timothy, what was he doing in her house and told him that she will call the police. The unlucky burglar then apologized and went away.

When police arrived, the owner described the identity of the suspect and told that the man got into the building through the unlocked glass door at the back side of the house. She also noticed that her private things such as the wallet, drivers license, and credit cards together with checks disappeared from the table near the couch.

The sleepy burglar was arrested at 8:03 the same day and it’s not clear if he has an attorney. The bail for Bontrager was set at $25,000 according to the authority’s official website in Sarasota.
