The disaster destroyed villages in mountains increasing the number of missing people to 20. Rescuers still have problems reaching the far located villages after the last earthquake that took lives of nearly 9 thousand people and severely damaged the infrastructure of the affected region and the recent landslide made the situation even worse.

The army helicopter managed to get 8 eight people out of the disaster zone, but pilots couldn’t fly the machine today as the neverending heavy rains prevented the flying and could put lives of people on board at a high risk.

A great number of Nepal citizens die every year because of landslides or flood that are companions of the moonson season in the country. These years’ disasters left thousands of people without any roof just before the beginning of the moonson season.
