Police forces are seeking for the star of mixed martial arts – Jon Jones, who is suspected in a hit-and-run car accident that took place on Sunday morning in Albuquerque. Police informed that witnesses saw a silver car making an illegal maneuver at the forbidden red traffic light.

Police informed that witnesses saw a silver car making an illegal maneuver at the forbidden red traffic light. The aggressive vehicle then hit the other car and made it crush into another vehicle. Witnesses also stated that they saw a man, that came out of the silver SUV and started running away, but then returned to the damaged vehicle, pulled out a handful of money, stuffed it into his pockets and ran away.

After inspecting the car, police said that they have found a marijuana pipe and a document saying that the car was rented on the name of Johnathan Jones.

Luckily, no one died because of the accident. One of the drivers, a young pregnant woman received slight injuries and after being taken care by the doctors, she was released.

Police made a couple of attempts to contact as Jones himself as his lawyer, but didn’t succeed in any of the attempts. Police representative also added that they aren’t 100% sure if Jones really has something to do with the accident.

Earlier, 27-year-old Jon Jones was the participant of the drug treatment program after the ‘positive’ test on cocaine, but left on the next day. He has a scheduled fight with Anthony Johnson in Las Vegas on May, 23.
