France police forces detained a man that was about to attack several Paris churches.

The 24-year-old man from Algeria was taken under custody on the 19th of April at his place in Paris after he accidentally injured himself and contacted the hospital for medical treatment. He is also suspected in the killing of a woman that took place this Sunday.

France has reinforced the safety precautions after the sad events that took place on 7th of January, 2015 when 12 people were killed and 11 injured after the terrorist attack on the Charlie Hebdo building in Paris.

Upon the detention of the suspect, police followed the blood trace to the suspect’s car, where they have found the arms and plans for possible future targets. According to Bernard Cazeneuve, the Interior Minister of France, this man was familiar to police because of his desire to go to Syria which he had expressed earlier.

Documents confirmed that this man was planning a terrorist attack.

– said Cazeneuve.

It’s not clear yet, what connects the suspect to the death of 32-year-old Aurelie Chatelain, who came to Paris to participate in a training course, but was murdered and left in her car in Paris on the 19th of May. Minister Cazeneuve expresses his sorrow to her relatives, in particular to her orphan daughter.

Official French authorities said that there is no direct link between the suspect and organized terrorist groups.
