Police reported that two women and three men were relatives. Their ages and names weren’t published, but police mentioned that three dead men were brothers and one of the dead women was their mother while another one was the wife of one of the dead brothers. Police also added that two other women and two children escaped without being injured.
“One of the women reported that the shooting happened because of the out-of-control family quarrel. Our dispatcher said that he heard background shots during the incoming call. The caller managed to get out of the house uharmed” – said Trent Crump, the police representative.
Crum also added that the family’s roots were from Morocco and they tried to contact with the live people that were still in the building through the megaphone using arabic. Police discovered bodies only after a long siege of the adjacent territory and witnesses of the scene said that they heard quiet gunshots after some time after the siege started.
SWAT team, that arrived on the crime scene used a robot to take a first-look into the house before sending in the dog and humans.
Police perimeter was kept all night, while investigators were inspecting the crime scene and gathering evidence.
