This startup service will change your attitude towards online shopping.
The address of the service on the web: http://www.drrrunkshopping.com/
And when the shop says “drunk” it means it literally.
The new service offers you to buy interesting, maybe strange and sometimes even useless items when you’re home from the fine party and, maybe, not sober enough to make the right decision. The new service doesn’t hide its intention to make money on people that aren’t able to look at the situation from the right side.
To start shopping, one needs to send a text message with the word “heyyyyyy” to 551-333-7865. But be careful, when typing the text in the message as the number of y’s matters. Once registered, the shop will send you a text message every Saturday at 02:00 at night, offering to buy some odd things like a giant piano mat.
The service is aimed at those people who like making a surprise for themselves that they will probably regret about later, when they will be sober. For example, the shop can offer you to buy a strange Nicolas Cage T-shirt that you’ll probably never wear once you’ll see it. And the shop can be really convincing about the purchase, till you decide to send them the “STOP” message.
The shop was created by the ex-Buzzfeed employee, Chris Baker. The name of the service indicates on its one-time purpose, mostly for curious people that will like to give it a try. But, who knows, maybe the startup will become a regular entertainment for people with lots of money in the pocket.
