The promise of Zayn Malik, who less than a month ago left One Direction, to stay friends for life could have already been under threat.
On Wednesday the 22-year-old singer, who left the pop group in March, interrupted the Twitter quarrel between his friend and music producer Naughty Boy and Louis Tomlinson, who is 23-year-old member of One Direction.
So, Naughty Boy started exchanging offensive tweets with Tomlinson, who was answering him the same way, and Malik supported his music producer and became insulting to Louis.
The whole battle began on Wednesday when Naughty Boy shared a picture of himself with Malik and after near three hours Tomlinson tweeted without any names or straight referances:
Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!
Just in ten minutes Naughty Boy replied:
After almost half an hour Tomlinson tweeted:
@NaughtyBoyMusic Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer…How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else’s career?
Then Malik got involved into discussion and said almost immediately:
@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?
And Naghty Boy replied at the same time as Malik:
@NaughtyBoyMusic good for you, well done!! I think we’ve done alright in terms of sales and I’ve happened to write on most. Keep trying!
Zayn Malik didn’t get any comment from Tomlinson.
After Zayn’s departure from One Direction, he stated that all 4 remaining members of the band were his “four friends for life”. Later he announced about the decision to become a solo singer, however he hadn’t given any further details. On the Asian Awards in April Zayn was awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Music and after that he paid tribute to One Direction in a heartwarming speech.
