Joni Mitchell, a famous 71-year-old US singer and songwriter, is not in coma, despite the rumors currently circulating on the internet.
Last month she was hospitalized after being found unconscious at home. She simply wasn’t able to care for herself, so her close friend Leslie Morris filled a petition to become Mitchell’s keeper, because claimed that she was unresponsive.
On Tuesday her official website declared that all the rumors are mistaken and Joni’s full recovery is expected in the nearest future. Although, she is still being in a hospital, she is alert and has her full senses.
However, Leslie Morris was given the authority to take decisions for Joni as soon as she leaves the hospital. But Mitchell is a strong woman that never gives up to fight. She was born in Canada and is well-known for such hits as ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ and ‘Chelsea Morning’. Unfortunately, since last year she hasn’t been able to perform publicly, as the rare skin condition was then revealed and prevented her from performing.
The petition, filled by Leslie Morris, states that Mitchell remains unconscious and can not make the responses. The doctor’s declaration was added to this petition and there was claimed that the woman will be unable to go to the court hearing approximately for about 5-6 months.
Joni Mitchell has been dashed to an intensive care since 31 March, but afterwards was said to be conscious and in a good spirit as well.
