Sweden is a new 2015 Eurovision Song Contest winner

Mans Zelmerlow, a 28-years-old Swedish singer, managed to bring the victory to his country

So, congratulations to Sweden! It has won this years Eurovision Song Contest.

Mans Zelmerlow, a 28-years-old Swedish singer, managed to bring the victory to his country as he become one of the favorites in the final. His song “Heroes” scored 365 points.

The second place was taken by Russia, who scored 303 points. And the third place went to Italy as it received 292 points.

Representatives of United Kingdom hardly managed to get 5 points. Electro Velvet was very close to receive all zero points for its performance.

UK was in the 24th place out of 27. Australia took part in singing competition for the first time. It ended up in a fifth place as it was a special guest due to the 60th anniversary of Eurovision Song Contest.

With the trophy from 2014 winner Conchita Wurst in his hands, Zelmerlow said that he just wanted to say that they were all heroes no matter “who we are or what we believe in.”

The next singing contest will take place in Sweden in 2016.
