Amy’s dad, Mitch, who now fronts the Amy Winehouse Foundation, claimed that he is totally disappointed with the way how he is portrayed in the film. Moreover, despite the fact that he had always been with his daughter, spending every day beside her, the documentary notifies absolutely opposite. He spent every day beside Amy and, if he didn’t, that was only because of work, but even then he was calling her seven times a day.

Also he is dissatisfied with the absence of a balance in this film. Mitch claims that the biographers put everything down there, although it lasts only two hours and it’s impossible to dump there all that unnecessary odds and adds. The members of Amy’s family believe that the film is a missed opportunity to celebrate her life and talent and that it is both deceptive and holds untruths.
