Last week Robert Downey Jr was to promote his latest film “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. He started it with discussing superheroes with Channel 4 News presenter Guru-Murthy, but surprisingly their conversation turned in a different way and became quite cooler after the interviewer’s question about Downey’s prison sentence for drug offers.

In the past the actor refused to talk about that period of his life, so this time he answered to the Krishnan, who continued asking further personal questions, that he had as much time as anyone else had, what means no time at all.

But Guru-Murthy went on even further, asking about Downey’s relationship with his father, the role it played during the periods of drug-taking and drinking of the famous son and what is the parent currently attitude to all that as well. Then Robert just shook his head and said that he really didn’t understand what the interview is about and left the room.

Later Downey Jr. said that he now wished he had left the interview sooner, because the newsman violated social etiquette by playing with the inappropriate questions. Also Robert added that he had to go out, because near that clown, Guru-Murthy, he was about to put hands on somebody.

Moreover, the actor reminded that the same garbage Guru-Murthy pulled on Quentin Tarantino, while interviewing him in 2013, but Tarantino stayed and lit him up for five minutes.
