Now it became impossible to make such plus-size celebs as Tess Holliday, Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson and Ashley Graham thinner than they really are, because Facebook and Instagram closed accounts of Project Harpoon.

Hashtags #thinnerbeauty and #SkinnyAcceptance had been used along with photoshopped pictures of celebs with overweight.

Tess Holiday was one of the first who demanded to ban Project Harpoon that used her photos without her permission.

It’s abominable that this [Facebook page] is using my image without permission to promote themselves

– Tess Holiday told E! and added:

This kind of hit piece is exactly why I started #effyourbeautystandards.  I am asking my followers to boycott this and any others like it.  Lovign yourself is the most powerful message we all need to stand behind.

Facebook had recently deleted the shameful account so now if you attempted to find it, you will receive a message that reads:

sorry, this content isn’t available right now

Facebook officials haven’t yet given the explanation why they banned the page and whether it will remain deleted.

Instagram in it’s turn announced that the account was removed because it violated their policy on bullying.
