As reported, BBC chose a new trio for the popular TV-show, Top Gear.
One of the TV-hosts is a woman. The former model Jodie Kidd already has the needed experience as she is the current presenter of the Classic Cars Show on the Channel 5. The second host is Guy Martin, the British motorcycle racer and the presenter on Channel 4. And the one that closes the trio is Philip Glenister, famous for his roles in Life of Mars and Ashes to Ashes.
Companie’s representatives said that they were in despair while trying to find the replacement for the former Top Gear team. As it was reported earlier, company had to drive away the 55-year-old Jeremy Clarkson for the fight with the producer. His teammates refused signing new contracts, thus creating additional searching problems for the company.
Ms Kidd stayed silent about her possible part in Top Gear. She only said that everything “is changing” in the show that is the one of the most profitable products in the company. She also mentioned that the next couple of months will be interesting but again, not saying any word about herself as the possible replacement for Clarkson.
Jeremy Clarkson still appears on the series of TV shows, scheduled before his dismissal from BBC.
