Johnny Depp will urgently leave Australia to rescue his dogs

US actor Johnny Depp and his wife, actress Amber Heard, decided to do everything for the sake of their two dogs rescue, including leaving Australia, where Depp is filming the 5th part of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Stars took the decision after the authorities have put forward an ultimatum: either they take their pets out of the country back to the USA or Yorkshire Terriers will be put to death.

According to The Advocate, the 51-year-old Depp and the 29-year-old Heard along with their dogs Boo and Pistol will fly home on Friday, May 15. On the way back to the States, Depp will have to answer questions of the quarantine services about how he managed to bring dogs into the country, besides he’ll be obliged to pay a fine.

On May 14, it became known that the Minister of Agriculture of Australia, Barnaby Joyce, has promised to put down two Depp’s Yorkshire Terriers. The official explained his position by saying that the actor’s animals were imported into the country on his private jet without obtaining the necessary permissions and bypassing the veterinary control. He added that Depp had 48 hours to take away his dogs back to the United States. Joyce explained the situation on the radio station ABC 612:

There is a process if you want to bring animals: you get the permits, they go into quarantine and then you can have them. And just because he’s Johnny Depp doesn’t make him exempt from Australian laws
