As it is known, originally the DreamWorks character Shrek had the voice of famous actor Chris Farley, who died in 1997. However, Farley was recently heard from beyond the grave in the audio that came out only now, after so long period of time.

Chris Farley had recorded the majority of the DreamWorks ogre’s dialogues by the time he died at the age of 33 in 1997. However, the audio were hidden when Mike Myers, thanks to whom Shrek has that Scottish brogue, came as a Farley’s replacement, so the recent founding appeared to be the real treasure.

The video is short and has just 2:32 minutes. It shows Shrek quarreling with the Donkey, who has the voice of Eddy Murphy. Actually the clip was made of numerous pencil drawings of those two sitting around a fire.

That forgotten video came to the surface at the same time when a new movie about Farley’s life saw the world. The documentary chronically shows his life starting from Farley’s childhood in Wisconsin, including the Saturday Night Live days and ending with his death in 1997 at the age of 33. It was entitled ‘I Am Chris Farley’ and directed by Brent Hodge and Derik Murray.

Talking about ‘Shrek’, it was released in 2001 and took around $270 million at the box office.
