Images data show that many of the pictures were taken in April and May this year. On the rest photographs Roof poses with the Confederate flag. It was used as a symbol in US to prevent the abolition of slavery during the civil war.

On Thursday, Roof was arrested for killing 9 African-American people at the Emanuel African Methodist Church at Charleston city center.

According to the police, on Wednesday the gunmen spent at least one hour at the church before he suddenly opened fire.

On Saturday, huge crowds of people gathered near the church to hear pastors from all over the US.
