A lot of people got mad when famous reality show star Kim Kardashian appeared on National Public Radio.

According to Elizabeth Jensen, NPR’s ombudsman, some listeners were not happy to hear Kim Kardashian on famous radio program. They got “disgusted” and “disappointed”.

Kim took part in radio program to promote her new book “Selfish,” which consists of 445 pages of Kim’s selfies. During the interview, Kim answered questions about her life and book. She also agreed with people, who though the book is quite ridiculous.

It’s riveting, I know

One listener complained that Kim Kardashian “has no business in any civilized forum.” Jensen also said that listeners were self-aware and unapologetic about their outrage.

Brianna Frazier from Laguna Beach, California, said that she loved the show for many years. When she heard Kim Kardashian, who was described by the woman as vapid, talentless and shallow person, Brianna concluded that such people cannot be accepted for shows of such caliber.

“Wait, Wait” program was hosted by Mike Pesca, who thought interviewing Kim would be “a good booking.”

When I heard about it I said ‘great,’ because she has a persona that’s well-known, she’s ripe fodder for good comedy, and she issued a book of selfies, which is fun to talk about, and as a guest she didn’t seem particularly shy or retiring

Pesca also gave listeners an ironic apology, saying the show will return to its high standards.
