The Star Wars team didn’t approve Amy Schumer’s controversial photo shoot,where she sucksC-3PO’s finger, for GQ magazine.

The Star Wars team didn’t approve Amy Schumer’s controversial photo shoot,where she sucksC-3PO’s finger, for GQ magazine.

Official Star Wars Twitter says that “Lucasfilm & Disney didn’t approve, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner.” Meanwhile, Star Wars fans called the shoot “distasteful” and “lame”.

The cover of American GQ magazine shows Amy sucking C-3PO’s finger. In other pictures Schumer Amy sits in the cab with Chewbacca, C-3PO and Yoda or dances with stormtroopers . Another picture shows her in bed with R2-D2 and C-3PO.

During the shoot Amy was dressed like Princess Leia, who was played by famous actress Carrie Fisher.

American GQ chose Amy Schumer to take funny pictures, calling her “the funniest woman in the galaxy”.

Amy Schumer was nominated for eight Emmy Awards for her her Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer on Thursday.

Lucas Film and Disney gave the disapproval comment as hundreds of fans showed their outrage about the shoot.

One fan even wrote:

I can’t believe @Disney and @starwars are allowing @GQMagazine to do this DISTASTEFUL #starwars spread shame on all of you

The new Star Wars film is to be released on 18 December. It is going to be the first film in series of famous movies.
