Michael Clifford, a guitarist of 5 Seconds Of Summer, posted photos of his bandaged face after the accident at Wembley Arena.

The performance of the Australian boys band had to be stopped as one of the members accidentally set himself on fire at Wembley Arena.

On Saturday night Michael Clifford was burnt by pyrotechnics almost at the end of the concert. Fans have posted a lot of videos where Clifford stood near flamethrower when it suddenly went off with fire. Guitarist’s hair set on fire but he immediately took a towel to cover it and ran off the stage.

When the song finished, band’s drummer Ashton Irwin told the audience that 5 SOS wouldn’t play for encore as one of them was badly injured.

Michael has hurt himself so we will not be continuing the show right now. I just want to say thank you so much for coming. He is OK

He also thanked everyone for being the best crowd they could ask for. Irwin said that everything was fine and ‘we love all of you’.

Some hours later Clifford posted photo of his bandaged face and a thumb up.

Calum Hood, another band member, said that it was awful to see his best friend in this condition. He also mentioned Clifford was ‘a trooper and is ok.’
